BOATIQUE is a retail shop specializing in nautical gifts and accessories, based in Essex, Connecticut. Jennie Stevenson opened her retail shop in the heart of "Essex Village", in April 2002. Jennie has been in retail for many years and felt that Essex Village needed a nautical shop for avid boaters, as well as novices. Therefore, BOATIQUE also offers necessity items for boaters that dock in Essex. (The Connecticut River Museum offers docking in Essex)
Being a captain on several ships herself, Jennie understands many of the needs, and wants, boaters may have when they dock. Therefore, she created a fun, unique nautical shop that offers decorative items, as well as needed items, for your boat & home.
Jennie decided to go on-line to accommodate customers that couldn't buy items while visiting in Essex. In the process of accommodating customers, anyone can now shop BOATIQUE from the comfort of their home, office, etc..., and without worrying about security issues or spam e-mails, as compromising someone's privacy is not something that interests her.
BOATIQUE will not sell, give away, or abuse a customer's information, in any fashion. BOATIQUE uses a mailing list to let customers know about "sale page" specials, and special events.
